Hi Friends:)

I am back 🙂 I haven’t written in a while and to be honest didn’t even realize how long it has been since my last post !!

After our holiday to Italy (I promise I will finish writing the last part of that trip) hectic life took hold and I barely had time to breath…

So what has been happening you might ask? Well for starters, Alexei started school and turned five!!! I cannot believe how big he is getting and how smart he is. After a few short months he can now read most words and can spell small words, he can add and subtract and is even coming home and saying different Irish ☘️ words and phrases. My hubby is trying to explain how to do multiplication to him but so far all he can get multiplied by two with small numbers.

We celebrated his birthday in Huckleberries Den with his school mates and cousins and later with our family. He had a great time and is already awaiting his 6th birthday 🎂

Alexei is also doing really well in swimming and has progressed from seahorses level to next level which is called starfish and is now in a big pool and is really enjoying it 🙂 he is the smallest and youngest in his level and initially it terrified me but now I see how much more confident he is in water and now I am just proud of him.

Matthew on the other head is growing up at a lightning speed. He is now walking and says couple of words like dog in Russian, grandad and dada. He is a little hurricane that leaves a trail of destruction anywhere he goes. Everything must be on the floor.. regardless of what it is. He is also a little smiler who is always ready to have a game of chase or just to repeat your sounds. Him and Alexei are still getting on really well. Both are having some issues with sharing but we are working on it:)

This year for Halloween Alexei dresses up as a skeleton while Matthew was a little dog 🙂 they both enjoyed walking around and it was especially nice as all four of us were there together.

In my work it’s becoming very hectic, I had an update on results so far meeting that didn’t as well as I hoped but made me focus more on planning better and breaking down big tasks into small ones and achieving them. Have another meeting tomorrow to discuss my plan for future work so wish me luck 🙂
