Finally, this weekend arrived.
It is my husband’s Birthday today and instead of physical gift this year for him, I decided to get is all an experience and gifted him a weekend stay in Belfast
Over Christmas and New Year we have been gifted so many items. As we are trying to minimize the clutter in our lives, if we do not need or want anything, I decided that it would be best to give experience as a gift.
We are staying in Hilton Hotel Belfast and it took us around 2 hours to get here from our home with some stops.
For those wondering how did I pack for 2 day weekend? for both boys, I packed 2 jeans, t-shirts and jumpers and 3 pairs of underwear, socks and vests. Tooth brushes and toothpaste for all. Computer pads for boys and chargers for all. For myself and my hubby, one extra pair of trousers and jumper and then 2 tshirts/shirts and other essentials. All fit into two small overnight bags.
Last night, we got here around seven pm and I had a booking for the bar downstairs No. 4.
They had live music and nice food and drink and very interesting surrounds.

What our plans for today? We will be exploring. I will try and take as many pics as I can 🙂

I look forward to more pics. I believe my wife and I will make it to Ireland in 2025. We’ve been planning the trip for a long time. We were supposed to go in 2010 but we had to cancel the trip because of a family emergency.
