Hi friends,
Today was a surprisingly nice day outside with no rain and nice atmosphere.
We started our day out with a short stroll to St.George’s market. There we grabbed a coffee and pastry for breakfast and looked at all of the handmade items. We bought couple of items, such as posters for boys and a shawl for me.
We dropped off bought items at our car and went for a walk along the waterfront.
Then we headed into city center, and did a bit of shopping and walked around looking at interesting architecture.
We got hungry and we grabbed lunch at Zizzi’s Italian restaurant where I had amazing calzone pizza:
We started to get a bit tired so we decided to loop through the centre back to waterfront, and come back to our hotel.
We came back to our room to relax and had some coffee and birthday cake. We will be trying out the Riverside Restaurant and Bar tonight for dinner. The reviews are not great online and apparently it’s the same food as we had in No 4 bar yesterday. This is not giving me much confidence, as I wasn’t able to eat half of food yesterday as it was too spicy 🌶️. There are no other places within 1 km distance of this hotel that are open today and I don’t think I can get kids to walk there after today’s walk 😂
