Dear Friends,
We hope you had a lovely Christmas with your loved ones and friends.
Our day started at 8 am when Alexei wanted to go downstairs to see if Santa left some presents. Last night he was told that he needed us to check for him to make sure that Santa is not in the room, because if Alexei sees him, he might get scared and go away without leaving any presents. That, along with a GroClock set at 7.30 am made sure that we got a bit a sleep in.
Matthew gave us the best sleep he could by sleeping from 11 pm till 6 am!! We were so happy:)
Santa of course came and left his presents, everything Alexei asked for, which wasn’t a lot and a surprise present a tippee. Alexei wasn’t sure where to look when he came downstairs and he has manged to play with all his new toys, which means he didn’t get too much. The one thing that I do need to make sure that Santa doesn’t bring as much next year is chocolate…. LOL 🙂 He was so hyper from all the sweets, he was bouncing off the walls.
Matthew loved his presents too, although we are going to open the big ones tomorrow or day after, as at this moment he loves playing with his dancing man and a car that plays music.
After presents, my hubby made us an Irish breakfast, after which it was time for Matthew’s nap and we did our starter. It was absolutely delicious – Slimming World Coronation Prawn and Mango Cocktail. Then, we headed to my in-laws for Christmas Dinner.
That was a lovely time for Alexei to play with his cousins and for the whole family to see each other and catch up.
Now we are back at home, with kids in bed, relaxing and waiting for Mrs Brown to come on TV:)
We hope everyone enjoyed their day:)
Merry Christmas!
